Alison canavan
On Monday the 6th of November, Alison Canavan came into school to give us her experience with mental health. Alison is a model and therapist. She began by telling us her story about becoming a super model at a young age and how she could not find happiness. She came back to Ireland. She became pregnant and told us about how her child was the best thing of her life and how he brought such simplicity to her life. She then tole us about yoga and different ways of relaxing such as yoga. She also showed us how to appreciate life more and not take it for granted. She told us its as easy as writing down 3 things everyday about what you are grateful for. She ended on maintaining stress for exams. She told us about study breaks to do more productive study. I found this very useful for everyday life.
